Six-Piece Orlando Polka Magic to Entertain Here.

There’s no doubt about it!  People of all Eastern European ethnic groups love to listen and dance to Polka music.  Now, the arguably “Best Band in Florida”, the six-piece Orlando Polka Magic (OPM), will soon be traveling to the Spring Hill/Brooksville area to dazzle us with their foot-stomping sounds.  A limited number of tickets are available to the interested public.

Since the band’s inception in 1990, OPM has created a large and diverse fan base, not only because of their big sound, but also because of their unique ability to “cross-over” from their traditional Polish/push-style polkas into a variety of other styles of big sound, such as their Cleveland/Slovenian, German, and Czech styles.  Their versatility has earned them a superlative reputation, and support throughout Florida’s entire polka community.  Now you have a chance to become a fan.

Walter Weiss Memorial Post 196, Polish Legion of American Veterans and Ladies Auxiliary, Spring Hill, Florida, is hosting this special appearance.  The date is Saturday evening, March 25, 2006 between 6 P.M. and 10:00 P.M.  The place is VFW Post 10209, located at 15166 Spring Hill Drive, Brooksville, FL 34604, just a half-mile East of the Sun Coast Parkway exit.  Tickets are available for $10.00/ea.  There will be a full-service cash bar.  Hot kielbasa sandwiches with sides of home-made potato salad will also be be sold throughout the evening.
